The Junior Police Call (JPC) Leader Corps Annual Parade 2015 took place on Police College's Aberdeen campus on August 2, with 170 members displaying a smart turnout and team spirit in the first annual parade. The members comprised JPC Advanced Leaders and students from the six schools joining the "JPC Leader Corps" pilot project.
Taking salute at the parade, Director of Operations Lau Yip-shing thanked school principals, teachers and officers for their contributions to the development of the Leader Corps project, as well as students for joining the project. He stressed that order and discipline are the cornerstones of a stable community while a young leader's primary task is to help the police fight crime by disseminating anti-crime messages.
Mr Lau also presented awards to various winners, including the Best JPC Leader Corps Members, the Best All-Round JPC Leader Corps Member, the Best Team Spirit Squad and the Best Foot Drill Squads.
The annual parade aimed at enhancing the participants' confidence, team spirit and leadership skills.
