As part of the efforts of its Nepalese Task Force to forge closer ties with the Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC), Yau Ma Tei Division (YMTDIV) played host to over 50 Nepalese kids and their parents in Yau Ma Tei Police Station on July 18.

The visitors toured the station as officers introduced the history of the station, its future developments and police accoutrements. Officers from Police Dog Unit also briefed the visitors on its duties and the jobs of police dogs.

At the end of the visit, some of the parents commented that they got a better understanding of the duties and jobs of the police, and that their visit would bring the NEC communities and the police closer to one another.
