Director of Management Services (DMS) Chiu Wai-yin hosted a Community Engagement Forum in Service Quality Wing for frontline commanders last month. She opened the forum by introducing the Enhanced Community Engagement Strategy and emphasised that in planning engagement activities, the key areas for consideration are Commitment, Image Building, Stakeholder Engagement and Strategic Communication.

Following Ms Chiu's presentation, Assistant Commissioner (Service Quality) Li Kin-fai offered inspiring ideas to help frontline commanders adopt a systematic approach to community engagement. At the same forum, Police Public Relations Branch Chief Superintendent Hui Chun-tak and his staff delivered talks on media engagement, the Media Liaison Team and the newly launched Hong Kong Police Facebook page. The forum concluded with an interactive panel discussion session.
