The Ho Man Tin Vehicle Detention Pound has been relocated to the Police Vehicle Detention and Examination Centre - Kowloon Bay on Sheung Yee Road, Kowloon Bay.

Covering an area of 9 600 square meters and completed with advanced examination technology and weighing equipment, the center officially opened for operation on October 30 after Kowloon East (KE) Regional Commander Duncan McCosh, Traffic Branch Chief Superintendent Matthew Lindsay and Traffic KE Commander Paul Grove had officiated at an opening ceremony.
