Police College has first KM Dialogue with AIPM via video conference
The first Knowledge Management (KM) Dialogue between Police College and the Australian Institute of Police Management (AIPM) took place on November 6 via a video conference.
Police College Deputy Director 2, Dr Cheng Tak-ming, in the capacity of the Chief Knowledge Champion of the Force, together with Acting Deputy Director 1 Ko Shun-chi, Senior Superintendent (Specialised Learning), Dr Chiu Sau-mee, and representatives of Police College, conducted the first KM Dialogue with AIPM officers. During the dialogue, Dr Cheng introduced the organisational structure of Police College and the development of KM in the Force, while Mr Warwick Jones, Executive Director of AIPM, introduced AIPM programmes such as Regional Executive Leadership Programme, Balance Programme and those in training philosophy.
In addition to exchanging innovative ideas, the dialogue also explored opportunities for collaborative research, experience-sharing in application of advanced learning technologies and exchange of training initiatives.
The AIPM is a renowned training institute providing executive development and leadership programmes for police and emergency services personnel.
