The relatives of a 10-year-old girl made a report to Lok Ma Chau Division (LMCDIV) on October 3 that the girl was missing while they were entering Hong Kong through the Lok Ma Chau Boundary Control Point. LMCDIV officers immediately conducted a search, while others comforted the relatives.

Police subsequently located the missing girl in Mong Kok District on the same day, promoting a relative to present a pennant and a thank you letter to LMCDIV on November 6.
