The Kowloon West (KW) Regional Sports Days was rounded off at Police Sports and Recreation Club on October 29. The eight main events of the Sports Day were running, football, volleyball, bowling, badminton, tennis, tug-of-war and table tennis. There were also "Fun Games" and "Cheering Team of the Day" to add more joy and fun.

Over 400 athletes turned up for the Sports Day and finally Mongkok District emerged as the Overall Champion. Traffic Kowloon West was the "Minor Formation Champion" and won the "Cheering Team of the Day" title whereas Yau Tsim District captured the trophy for "Fun Games".

KW Regional Commander Chung Siu-yeung was pleased to see officers manage to squeeze time for the Sports Day despite their heavy workloads. He encouraged them to pursue a healthy lifestyle by taking part in recreational activities.
