The Regional Crime Prevention Office of Marine Region held for the first time a seminar on cyber security at Marine Regional Headquarters on November 23 for 36 Port Facilities Security Officers and IT representatives from port facility operators as well as 11 police officers.

At the seminar, Senior Inspector Hui Yee-wai from Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau drew the attention of the audience to the latest cyber attacks so that they would be more knowledgeable and aware of cyber security issues. The seminar concluded with a session on implementation of security control measures for the safety of port facilities.
