Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chau Kwok-leung, Director of Personnel and Training Au Chi-kwong and Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Tang Ping-keung renewed acquaintance and friendship with around 700 members of the Hong Kong Police Old Comrades' Association and the Hong Kong Marine Police Retirees' Association at luncheon meetings in Police Sports and Recreation Club last month.

The Force initiated the meetings with the support of the chairmen and executive members of both associations. The Force maintains close ties with old comrades and appreciates their constant support for both the Force and serving officers.

At the lunch, Mr Chau said he would recommend retired officers to join the old comrades' associations to avail themselves of the associations' healthy and recreational activities. The members, who had good time during the luncheon meetings, looked forward to the meetings next year.
