Wan Chai District (WCHDIST) Commander Mak Chin-ho led a party of officers to visit the Maskid Ammar and Osman Ramju Sadick Islamic Centre in Wan Chai on Feburary 2 in a bid to enhance mutual communication and understanding.

During the visit, the Chairman of the Centre, Mr Azizul Rahman Suffiad, and Imam Uthman Yang introduced the Islamic history and led a tour of the Center. Imam Uthman Yang showed the tradition and procedures of their prayer to give the officers a better understanding of their culture. He also thanked WCHDIST for providing various engagement activities to help Non-ethnic Chinese youths integrate with the locals.

After the visit, officers have a better picture of the Islamic history and culture, besides achieving the goals of their visit.
