A total of eight officers have been awarded "Vocational Service Award" by the Rotary Club of Kowloon Golden Mile for their outstanding services and contributions to the community. The awardees are: Chief Inspector David Neil Bennett from Lantau District, Sergeant (SGT) Wan Fu-keung, SGT Cheng Chi-man, Police Constable (PC) Kwok Chi-ho, PC Chung King-kwun and PC Yeung Man-chau from Marine Outer Waters District, and PC Ho Chi-kin and PC Suen Ming-tak from Yau Tsim District.

On hand to congratulate the officers at the presentation ceremony on January 20 were Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chau Kwok-leung, Kowloon West Regional Commander Yu Tat-chung, New Territories South Regional Commander Lui Hon-kwok, Marine Regional Commander Patrick Hodson, Yau Tsim District Commander Kwok Pak-chung, Marine Outer Waters District Commander Bradley Wright and Acting Lantau District Commander Ho Yun-sing.
