Shortly after the riot in Mong Kok on February 9, citizens from many sectors of the community came out in support of officers. Among them were community leaders, individuals and members of different community organisations, all expressing their support and appreciation in forms of visits to Police Headquarters and police stations, letters and bouquets. They also wished the injured officers a speedy recovery.
