Yuen Long District provides training in various topics with a view to beefing up officers' professionalism. In this regard, Assistant Divisional Commander (ADVC) (Operations) of Yuen Long Division (YLDIV) Shiu Wan-yee shared the policing work and cultures she had learned during her visit to Hampshire in Southeast England at a "Knowledge Cafe" session on February 5. She also explained the local "restorative justice", resource management, identifying new income sources and cutting expenditure, and methods to handle juvenile crimes.

The audience came to understand better a different policing culture and discussed police issues in England during a question-and-answer session.
