Commissioner Lo Wai-chung officiated at the opening ceremony of the new generation report room at Tsuen Wan Police Station on July 26 and then toured the new facilities with New Territories South Regional Commander Lui Hon-kwok.

The new report room provides a higher degree of privacy through its main features, which include semi-enclosed reporting booths and a special interview room for vulnerable victims or witnesses.

The reception area of the report room has adopted an annular design so that officers can keep watch of every corner of the room. The reception counter is also equipped with an electronic queuing system as well as an induction loop system for the hearing-impaired. All these facilities are aimed to optimise services for the public.
