The Complaints Against Police Office identified two footages from the social media in the third quarter about commendable responses of frontline officers whilst handling confrontational situations. Chief Superintendent of the Complaints and Internal Investigations Branch Cheung Kin-kwong presented certificates to five officers at the presentation ceremony of Project Lighthouse II on November 4 in appreciation of their professionalism, tact and restraint in handling the cases.

Receiving the certificates were Police Constables Yip Kai-wah, Cheung Chin-wai, Lam Kai-ho and Ma Kei-fung, and Station Sergeant Law Kwok-fan. Earlier this year, eight other officers had been commended for the project.

Meanwhile, the response to the second part of the project, the Video Dubbing Competition, was overwhelming with a total of 120 submissions received. The results of the competition would be announced in early 2017.
