Eastern District (EDIST) paid tribute to 23 junior officers, including Police Constables and Non-Commissioned Officers, as well as traffic officers and civilian staff for their outstanding performance and professionalism at an award presentation ceremony of the Eastern District Outstanding Officers' Award 2016 Programme on June 14.

Officiating at the ceremony were Commander of EDIST Rupert Dover, Chairman of Eastern District Fight Crime Committee (EDFCC) Mr Leung Chi-kong and Vice-chairman of EDFCC Dr Yeung Wai-hong. The recipients received awards of 11 categories after a series of nominations, assessment and interviews. The ceremony also attracted a large turnout of officers, which made the event meaningful.
