Representatives of the Hong Kong Management Committee of the Card Authorisation System in PRC presented pennants to Commander of Tsim Sha Tsui Division (TSTDIV) Yu Hoi-kwan, Officer-in-Charge of Task Force Sub-Unit 5 of TSTDIV Shum Lap-chi and his team members on August 31 as a token of appreciation for their contribution in combating credit card fraud.

TSTDIV and the committee mounted a three-day joint operation codenamed Operation KINGLORD from April 29 against credit card deception. Six arrests were made and two crime syndicates were dismantled, involving more than $90,000. Following the operation, the number of credit card fraud cases in the District has dropped significantly.
