Commissioner Lo Wai-chung appointed Acting Assistant Commissioner Kwan Chui-ching to succeed Director of Management Services Lau Chi-wai as Chairperson of the Police Arts Council (PAC). On June 4, Mr Lo presented a letter of appreciation to Ms Lau (top photo) and a letter of appointment to Ms Kwan (bottom photo).

During Ms Lau's two-year-plus tenure, the police arts clubs saw a rapid development in terms of the quantity, quality and popularity of their activities. This fitted in with the Force's Integrated Approach to Physical Fitness and Health Management. Currently, there are 22 police arts clubs that organise different types of arts activities to promote a healthy lifestyle among Force members.
