Rocketing Creative Community of Practices & Teams

The Police College and the Peer Adviser Scheme jointly held a Knowledge Café on the theme of "Rocketing Creative Community of Practices & Teams" at the Police Headquarters on June 11. Dr Vincent Ribière, the Managing Director and co-founder of the Institute for Knowledge and Innovation Southeast Asia as well as the Program Director of the PhD in Knowledge and Innovation Management at Bangkok University, was invited to share his insights on Community of Practices (CoPs).

The event explored how CoPs can provide an effective platform for people from different backgrounds to share their knowledge, skills and experience in a bid to enhance the ability and performance of an organisation. Dr Ribière explained to the participants the concept and importance of CoPs through vivid examples. He inspired the participants to think about ways to promote innovation in the Force through CoPs.

Over 60 officers participated in the event and had a fruitful discussion with the speaker. The presentation at the event is available on the Knowledge Management Portal for officers' reference.
