Marine Region organised an experience-sharing session on "Safety Driving Skill and Hazards on Roads" at its Regional Headquarters on May 23. Nearly 50 frontline Marine Police Officers attended the event.
Retiring Superintendent of the Enforcement and Control Division of Traffic New Territories South cum former Officer-in-Charge of the Force Escort Group Chik Ming-yam shared his experience in defensive driving and road risk assessment. He also examined the causes of past traffic accidents and ways to prevent similar accidents.
The event enabled the participants to sharpen their driving techniques and raised their awareness of road hazards.
