The Personnel Services and Staff Relations Branch of the Personnel Wing invited some supporters of the Hong Kong Police Force to the Police Headquarters (PHQ) on September 5 to cheer on frontline officers. Among the supporters were artiste Mr Natalis Chan and his wife as well as restaurant owner cum the "Queen of Milk Tea" Ms Kate Lee. The Force thanked the supporters for sparing the time to cheer on the officers.

Mr Natalis Chan was grateful and proud of the officers for their endurance and professionalism even in adverse situations. With the Police being the cornerstone of Hong Kong's stability, he thanked the officers for their resilience and dedication to serving society and enforcing the law. He hoped that the officers would continue to keep up their high morale.

This was the second time that Ms Kate Lee prepared milk tea for the officers at PHQ. Noting that the Police is facing an unprecedented challenge, Ms Lee encouraged the officers to continue their efforts as many people support the Police to strictly enforce the law.

In addition, an owner of another restaurant, Ms Lily Wong, prepared Chinese puddings for the officers. On top of the traditional brown sugar puddings, red bean puddings and coconut puddings, puddings of other special flavours like butterfly pea puddings, dried shrimp puddings and purple rice puddings were served.

More than 1 000 officers took a break from the hustle and bustle of work to enjoy the heartwarming delicacies.
