The Regional Crime Prevention Office of New Territories North (RCPO NTN) made arrangements for four officers to promote fight crime messages in "The Elderly" programme on Radio Television Hong Kong Radio 5 on September 10 in view of an upward trend of online shopping fraud.

Speaking on the programme, Chief Inspector Law Suk-man, Inspector Hui Wing-yan and a police constable of RCPO NTN talked about the modus operandi of mooncake coupon scams and gave tips to prevent fraud. Senior Inspector Chow Sze-wang of the Crime Prevention Bureau also alerted the audience of the tactics of telephone deception in a bid to raise their anti-deception awareness.
