The Junior Police Call (JPC) and Senior Police Call (SPC) of Tsuen Wan District (TWDIST) jointly hosted the "Mid-Autumn Festival Fight Crime Fun Day for Juniors and Seniors" at Lei Muk Shue Community Hall on August 30 to celebrate the festival and disseminate fight crime messages.


Officiating at the event included Acting Commander of TWDIST Yau Kwok-keung, Chairman of TWDIST JPC Honorary President Council Mr Chan Iu-seng, Chairperson of TWDIST SPC Honorary President Council Mrs So Chan Wai-hang, Honorary Presidents of TWDIST JPC Honorary President Council Mr Wong Yin-shun and Mr Lo Siu-kit as well as Honorary Presidents of TWDIST SPC Honorary President Council Mrs Yim Tsui Yuk-shan and Mr Chau Chung-tung.


Over 300 people, including JPC members, SPC members and local elders, participated in the Fun Day. The programme covered a variety of activities such as anti-crime quizzes, lantern riddle games, a lucky draw, an aerobics dance performance, a face-changing magic show and a singing performance by artiste Ms Fan Yik-man. At the end of the programme, the guests distributed fight crime souvenirs and blessing bags to the participants.


The event provided an opportunity for the elderly and young people to enhance communication, thereby fostering transgenerational harmony.
