Thirty-two members of Lantau District Junior Police Call (LTDIST JPC), led by Chairman of LTDIST JPC Honorary President Council Mr Wong Tsz-man, Vice-Chairmen Mr Yu Hon-kwan and Mr Chan Ho-wah, Honorary Presidents Mr Ng Siu-yuen and Ms Wong Yik as well as staff members of the Police Community Relations Office of LTDIST, visited Beijing between August 16 and 21 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.


The delegation called on the All-China Youth Federation and attended a forum to exchange views with the Secretary-General of the Federation. The Secretary-General explained to the delegates the vision and mission of the Federation, and expressed her appreciation and support to the Hong Kong Police Force for upholding the law.


The delegates also visited the base of the Beijing Armed Police Corps to learn more about the training and equipment of local officers. The trip increased the JPC members' awareness of crime prevention and broadened their horizons.
