Police Volleyball Club (PVC) organised the Major Formations Volleyball Competition on December 21, 2024, attracting participation of over a hundred officers from different major Formations. After several intense and competitive matches, New Territories North claimed the championship in the men’s division, with Kowloon West being the first runners-up while Marine and Hong Kong Island sharing the second runners-up. In the women’s division, Crime Wing secured the championship, followed by Service Quality Wing as the first runners-up, Kowloon East and Hong Kong Island as the second runners-up. Commissioner Siu Chak-yee came to the venue and presented the awards. Chairperson of PVC Tse Tsui-yan praised the players for their outstanding performance, stating that the tournament not only facilitated exchanges and skill development among athletes from major Formations, but also strengthened teamwork and collaboration of the officers.


Police volleyball teams conduct training at the Police Sports and Recreation Club from 7pm to 10pm every Thursday. Force members and their families interested in joining the training may contact Senior Inspector Jackie (Tel: 6050-4211).
