Due to popular demand from OFFBEAT readers, we bring you more of the winning entries
from the JPOA photographic competition celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Junior Police
Officers' Association. All these photographs and more are available in "Our Caring Force", the
JPOA's 20th Anniversary Album and will be on display in an exhibition at City Hall on
Monday 27 October.
The commemorative album gives viewers a better understanding of the development of the Hong Kong Police Force, and the dedication and care of police officers in the execution of their duties. It also serves as a record of the milestones in the development of the Hong Kong Police Force. Hong Kong is often refered to as the Pearl of the Orient and regarded as an economic miracle. One of the contributing parties for its success is the honest, well-equipped, well-trained and highly effective police force. The Force's track record in preserving law and order in Hong Kong has won the confidence of the community. | |
