Police Officers' Club News
We've gone exercise mad down here in Causeway Bay! The New Fitness Centre is now open with three rooms full of marvellous machines and wonderful weights - watch out for training seminars and workout sessions in the coming weeks. If you prefer a different type of exercise, why not try a Complete Water Power Workout - 45 minutes of aqua aerobics in the heated pool. The first class is totally free - pick up an application form at Club Reception, or call Coach Elite on 9881-9017. While you're in the pool, how about learning to scuba dive? Coach Elite are offering a great bi-lingual package of theory, pool training and open water diving which leads to PADI worldwide qualification, coached by Simon Lam. Dates will be arranged for your convenience, and the course costs just $4,000 per person or $3,500 if you have a group of three to four, or an incredible $3,000 for groups of more than five. Application forms are at Club Reception now, or call 9881-9017. Club Reception also has application forms available for the October 1 National Day Fireworks Display Dinner. Start the evening with a fine Chinese Set Dinner or Western Buffet and then enjoy the best view of the display in town. One principal member can book one table for Chinese Dinner ($2,999 for 12 persons, $1,999 for eight) or any number of persons up to a maximum of 12 for the Buffet ($238 per adult, $188 per child).
