Some 87 Tsuen Wan District officers were lauded at a ceremony on September 30 for their top work in several recent cases.
Tsuen Wan Rural Committee, Yau Kam Tau Village and Ha Fa Shan Village representatives presented banners and souvenirs to Tsuen Wan District Commander Tony Ho Tse-tong and Tsuen Wan Division Task Force officers for arresting two illegal immigrants on September 17. The duo were believed to be connected to a number of robberies and were now awaiting the courts.
Meanwhile, Tsuen Wan Assistant Divisional Commander (Crime) Choy Wai-fu and Divisional Support Team Two officers received banners from Sham Tseng restaurant proprietor Sin Kit-chuen for their speedy arrest of an extortionist on June 13. The restaurateur also generously donated $5,000 to the Police Children's Education Trust.
Members of the Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing District Fight Crime Committees were joined by Mr Ho in complimenting all the officers on their top performances.
