 All mapped out: Police Orienteering Club members show their trophies |
The orienteering competition of the Corporate Games took place at Ngau Liu near Tai Mo Shan on October 24 with some top performances from Police Orienteering Club members who scooped three titles and numerous other trophies.
Steve Holmes of the Information Technology Branch won the men's solo event, with Wong Hak-shun of Traffic New Territories North taking second. Pang Ka-choi, also from ITB, came in fourth. Ada Lam Yuen-kwan of Yuen Long Division dominated the ladies solo event to win first place honours.
Aberdeen Division's William Chan and Sham Wing-ming of the Sports and Recreation Division took out the men's pairs. Fourth place went to Cheung Choi-wah of Traffic New Territories South and Lee Kwan-ping of Police Tactical Unit Headquarters.
