Thanks for National Day assistance

I write to thank you and your staff for the assistance given in the celebration activities on October 1.
The Flag Raising Ceremony and the Celebration Show were organised with great success. The Hong Kong community and the media commented very positively on these two events. This could not have been achieved without the support given by you and your colleagues.
I fully appreciate the hard efforts by your staff who made a very impressive performance on these occasions. Particular mention should be made of the efforts by your staff from Traffic Branch who ensured a smooth traffic flow in the vicinity of the Convention and Exhibition Centre and the Hong Kong Stadium. Your staff from Wan Chai District helped out greatly to ensure efficient crowd control before and during the events.
Please convey my sincere thanks to all your staff who have contributed to the success of the celebration activities.
