MK DDC Peter Else receives the accolades

Mong Kok District officers were presented souvenirs by Dickson Cyber Company on December 6 for their top job in detecting a number of deception cases involving the company.

On November 27, it received two email messages using the credit card information of other people to order merchandise. One of the card holders made a report to Police and an extensive investigation was launched by MK DIST Investigation Team Three officers. Posing as couriers and receptionists, officers ambushed two locations in west Kowloon on November 30, leading to the arrest of two men and a woman. Company representatives made the presentation to MK Deputy District Commander Peter Else, Assistant DC (Crime) Gavin Brown, Chief Inspector (Crime) Chow Chong-wai and the investigating officers at the ceremony in MK Police Station.

Some 16 kids from the Hong Kong Christian Service sang Christmas carols at the newly renovated MK Police Station Report Room on December 20, to warm staff and visitors up for the festive season.
