Districts launch fight crime campaigns

Wong Tai Sin District launched a fight crime campaign on January 11 by distributing Lunar New Year scrolls in Sai Kung. The campaign is aimed at alerting residents to take fight crime measures during the Lunar New Year period.

District Commander Ian Tyzzer and Deputy District Commander Kong Cheung Chi-lan, together with members of the Sai Kung District Fight Crime Committee and Junior Police Call took part in the campaign by distributing mementos and leaflets to shopkeepers and residents.

Meanwhile, Mong Kok District has also launched a winter precaution publicity campaign to enhance shop owners' awareness of security measures in the run up to the festive season and the Chinese New Year.

Assistant District Commander Operations So Kam-tong and officers from the Mong Kok Police Community Relations Office and Crime Prevention Office distributed leaflets to shop owners in Grand Century Place.
