HK 'the safest place'
in Asia Pacific

Hong Kong has been rated the safest and most stable place among 14 countries and places in the Asia Pacific region, according to a survey conducted by the Political and Economic Risk Consultancy Ltd.

Hong Kong has been graded 1.57 on a scale ranging from zero to 10, with zero being the best grade possible and 10 the worst.

In another poll, the University of Hong Kong interviewed 1,054 adults on the state of social cohesion in Hong Kong from mid-August to October this year.

Topping the list with a mean score of 6.73, the Force has been perceived as a group strengthening social cohesion, followed by academics and professional associations.
