Police Review 2004
The Hong Kong Police Review 2004 has been published, recapitulating work in the past year and shedding on key tasks lying ahead.
In his foreword, Commissioner Lee Ming-kwai expresses satisfaction over a significant drop in the overall crime in 2004 and success in tackling violent crimes as well as serious narcotics offences.
He also pledges that the Force would rise to forthcoming challenges with determination, including the WTO Sixth Ministerial Conference scheduled for December this year.
