School compliments KTDIV
As a token of his appreciation, Mr Yuen presented a letter of thanks and a banner to Senior Inspector Ng Shu-hung, officer-in-charge of the sub-unit.
The day before the burglary, the officers were carrying out late night anti-burglary operations near the school when they spotted a young man acting suspiciously outside the school and took note of his particulars. Later, it was discovered that the school was burgled earlier that day and further investigations were conducted. Subsequently, a young man was arrested.
During the presentation, SIP Ng reminded the students to pay more attention to home safety and fight crime messages. He also advised them: "Be careful in making friends to avoid giving someone an chance to take advantage of you; otherwise you'll be in real trouble and unable to extricate yourself from it. By then it will be too late to repent."
The Principal of the CCC Kei Chi Secondary School, Mr Yuen Tak-fu, recently complimented officers of the Patrol Sub-unit 4 of Kwun Tong Division for detecting a burglary that had occurred in the school, in front of over 1,000 students during their morning assembly.
