Airport District, Wan Chai Division and Peak Sub-division The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology In a letter to CP, the university expressed its gratitude for the assistance rendered by the Force in connection with Prof. Stephen Hawking's recent visit to Hong Kong. The university thanked Airport District for making a swift response in connection with the professor's arrival at the airport. It also praised Wan Chai Division and Peak Sub-division for their crowd control duties for the professor's other engagements.

SSGT Liu Chi-wah, SGT Leung Tat-ming and PC Shek Wai-sang, all from CSWDIV Local resident The resident said the officers acted swiftly after he had reported that his friend was trying to take her own life. After the officers had liaised with their colleagues on Lantau Island, the girl was eventually located in a holiday bungalow on the island. What the officers had done had fully demonstrated the Force's professionalism and efficiency, the resident added.

Officers from SSDIV Local resident The resident said that in response to her call for assistance, a team of officers went to her home to mediate in a dispute. Thanks to the officers'patience, sense of commitment to duties, politeness and understanding, the dispute was eventually resolved almost six hours later.

SGT Tang Pak-wing of FTC Police College and PCs Ng Wai-man and Cheung Chi-keung of TWL RAILDIST Local resident The resident thanked the officers for rendering asistance to her elderly father-in-law, who had lost his way at Mong Kok MTR Station, and encountered a language problem for being able to speak only Chiu Chow dialect. The officers were very professional in their work and polite to a flustered elderly person. The resident said her father-in-law suddenly passed away at home in his sleep 20 days later, and the trip to Mong Kok became his last journey to that part of Hong Kong. However, had he really got lost in the MTR network, he might have had a worse ending to his life.

PC Chan Wing-fu of PSU 4 STDIV Woman motorist The motorist said she was very impressed by PC Chan's warm-hearted attitude and understanding of her temporary disability. She added that she illegally parked her car on a street in the New Territories, but on seeing her foot in a big cast and walking in great pain with two crutches, PC Chan was more concerned with her safety than issuing an illegal parking ticket to her.

PC Ng Chun-yeung of T NTN Local resident The resident thanked PC Ng for his efforts in investigating a traffic accident, as a result of which her father-in-law later died in hospital. The resident added that without PC Ng's help, she would not have known that her father-in-law was involved in a traffic accident.

PC Yau Kin-ho of AIT 2 T KE Traffic accident victim The victim said that after she had been hit by a bus at a bus terminal, PC Yau not only investigated the accident in a professional manner, but also showed her a lot of care and concern.

SGT Chan Chung- chuen of PSU 2 TWDIST Local resident The resident said SGT Chan and his fellow officers showed a lot of professional knowledge and enthusiasm while assisting him in locating his father-in-law, enabling him to regain his confidence during moments of distress.
