Welcoming Chief Fire Officer (Hong Kong), Mr Chu Man-chun, and about 30 of his colleagues, Hong Kong Island Regional Commander Hung Hak-wai expressed his pleasure at having an opportunity to share experience, enhance co-operation and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere and setting. HKI Region works closely with FSD, not only in the handling major incidents but also in ensuring that the numerous public order events on Hong Kong Island are held without incidents.

The luncheon enabled each side to gain a valuable insight into how the other party works, thus fostering closer communication for future operations. And the curry was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone too!
