To mark its 30th anniversary, Communications Branch is staging in Police Museum an exhibition of the historical development of Force communications equipment.
On July 20, the Radio and Telecommunications Special Interest Group of the Police Information Technology Society (ITS) organised a visit to the exhibition for 40 members and their families. On hand to meet and take the visitors on a guided tour was the Chairman of the society and Chief Telecommunications Engineer Jolly Wong.
Touring the "Historical Development of Force Communications" exhibition, the visitors found the exhibits very interesting and underscoring the changes in Force communications equipment in the past 50 years. The exhibition is scheduled to close on October 31.
