In a bid to make domestic helpers more conscious of crime prevention, Yuen Long District (YLDIST) and Regional Crime Prevention Office New Territories North (RCPO NTN) offered a talk with the support of a District Councillor and an estate management company.

"Everyone has a role to play in crime prevention," said Yuen Long Divisional Commander, Superintendent (SP) Wong Yiu-ming, when he called on the public to help beat crime.

As many of their employers might leave on vacation in summer, SP Wong reminded the domestic helpers attending his talk to secure the homes while their employers are out of town. "You too have an important role to play in beating crime just like other citizens," SP Wong told the audience.

Joining SP Wong in discussion were Yuen Long District Councillor, Ms Yau Tai-tai, and Fairview Park Security Manager, Mr Li Wai-ming. At the same time, RCPO NTN officers introduced the different types of crime prevention measures and home security equipment to the audience.
