At the end of the 10-day sports meet, the Force delegation achieved a remarkable record of 51 gold, 50 silver and 48 bronze medals. Force athletes performed particularly well in team events, winning 19 gold, 16 silver and 13 bronze in Indoor Rowing, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Golf, Lawn Bowl, Shooting, Soccer, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis and Volleyball.

The Head of the Force delegation, Deputy Commissioner (Management) Ma Wai-luk, the Chairman of the Force WPFG Organising Committee, Assistant Commissioner Cheng Se-lim and the Chairman of the Police Sports Council, Assistant Commissioner Li Kin-fai, visited competition venues to cheer on Force athletes every day, giving them big encouragement and support.

The performances of Force athletes also won the hearts of many locals when some kids formed a fan group and followed the Force basketball team wherever it played and cheered on team members until they won the gold.

The Force has all along advocated "Physical Fitness and Health Management". Participating in the WPFG, Force athletes cemented ties with law enforcement officers all over the world. They also appreciate that they have to remain physically fit at all times for their jobs.
