Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Ngau Tau Kok

Police today (May 25) appealed to members of the public to provide information on a traffic accident which occurred in Ngau Tau Kok on May 21.

At about 10.15pm, a public light bus (PLB) driven by a 37-year-old man was travelling along westbound Ngau Tau Kok 4th Street. When reaching outside Block 10, Lower Ngau Tau Kok Estate, it reportedly knocked down a 51-year-old man who was crossing the road.

Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 1.26pm on May 22.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are proceeding.
