Welfare Services

The Force's Welfare Offices continue to provide the following services to retired officers:

• Provide assistance in welfare matters and where appropriate refer them to various medical and social services
• Help bereaved family to apply for welfare services and financial assistance from appropriate sources, such as Central Fund / Family Protection Fund, Police Welfare Fund, Police Credit Union, etc.
• Help retired officer whose children are under 26 years old and meeting the necessary criteria, to apply for "Police Children's Education Trust" and "Police Education & Welfare Trust". Retired officers can join the Voluntary Contribution Scheme to pledge support to the two education trusts.

• Membership of Police Sports and Recreation Club / Police Officers' Club / Disciplined Services Sports and Recreation Club
• Use of Force Holiday Homes and Hotel Package.
