Commandant's Words

The Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force (HKAPF) is a professional auxiliary force established in 1914. The Force is determined to maintain the law and order of the community and its performance has been well appreciated.

The HKAPF has been trained for internal security. It's main responsibilities are to support the regular force to perform crowd management duty in large scale public events or pre-planned operations, and to conduct daily beat patrols. Further, the Force will also provide support at times of natural disasters and emergencies.

Members of the HKAPF come from all walks of lives, including students from universities or post-secondary institutes, who join the auxiliary police at their own time to serve the community. We welcome all who are committed to serving the community to take part in this meaningful work and help to maintain the law and order of Hong Kong.
