油尖區少訊

        我於八月五至八日隨油尖區少訊到韓國首爾交流，了解當地的教育及文化。

        此行獲益良多，參觀「市民安全體驗館」時，我們學習到地震時的應變技巧、如何面對颱風的威脅和使用滅火器等，相信以後如遇到任何天然災害或突發情況，我們都能保持鎮定和作出應變。

        另外，遊覽3D立體美術館的一天亦很難忘，我們盡情發揮演藝天份和創意，在藝術作品前拍照留念。我希望少訊們日後也能將無限創意發揮在日常生活和少訊活動中。

        古語有云 : 「讀萬卷書不如行萬里路」， 旅行是一個開拓視野的好機會。我非常榮幸能與一眾油尖區少訊和會長到韓國交流。

        是次旅程令我印象最深的是韓國人的自律。就算走在購物區內，垃圾桶也不是隨處可見。原來，當地人習慣自行妥善處理垃圾，以保持地方整潔，這方面實在值得香港人學習，因為最有效的環保教育就是「由自身做起」，然後再推己及人。我們亦參觀了首爾南山塔、韓國瓦斯公社的瓦斯科學館和景福宮等，令我大開眼界。

        The four-day Korea exchange tour was very impressive. We visited a number of places, including the Korea Tourism & Cultural Experience Centre, where we learned how to make Kimchi and tried on the traditional Korean costumes, and also the Seoul Citizen Safety Training Centre, where we learned some very useful and practical tips that might save lives.

        The training centre was a three-storey building, occupying an area of more than 5000 square metres and consisting of some 20 training corners. By visiting the earthquake simulation room, smoke escape training room and fire extinguisher training room, we learned how to save ourselves in face of dangerous situations.

        Thanks to the JPC Honorary President Council, we were given this precious learning opportunity. I am glad to be a JPC member, and I benefited a lot from this educational trip!
