Christmas is one of the main festivals in Hong Kong. Many families like to place Christmas trees to brighten up their home. Buildings on both sides of the Victoria Harbour are always beautifully decked out with Christmas lights in this festive season.

Hong Kong people love celebrating Christmas because we think that it is a time of giving and sharing. Some will exchange Christmas gifts with their family and friends and some may donate money to the charities.

For me, I spent my time with my beloved family and friends in this festive season. On 25 December, I held a party at home with my family and friends. We had a big Christmas dinner served with turkey and rounded off with a Christmas pudding. To further spice up the party, we had an exchange of festive gifts. We all had a lot of fun. After the party, we went to Tsim Sha Tsui to enjoy and share the joyful time with others.
