I joined Tai Po District Junior Police Call to visit an elderly centre on February 16. The aim of this activity was to raise crime prevention awareness and most importantly convey anti-deception messages.
In the drama session, we acted out a number of common deception incidents to raise the awareness of the elderly. There were also scenario-based questions to increase interactions between the JPC members and the elderly. We also sang songs and played games together, and distributed some crime-fighting souvenirs before we left.
It was a meaningful activity. I had a good time with the elderly and I cannot wait to join the next visit.
