My name is Cherry. When I was a child, I had a lot of hobbies, such as swimming, high jump, playing table tennis and the clarinet. However, after becoming a secondary school student, I insisted on focusing on one of them, which is playing the clarinet. I have been learning it since Primary 4. I love playing it as it makes me relaxed and the sound is beautiful. However, sometimes it can be quite challenging. The tonguing skills and finger dexterity are the two most difficult aspects for me. If I can overcome them, it will give me a strong sense of accomplishment.
In addition, I am also a member of my school orchestra. Co-operation is important to keep the orchestra running well. We need to pay close attention to the conductor’s instructions so that all performers can be unified. If the conductor points out my mistakes during practice, I would correct myself immediately. Although practice can be exhausting, I do enjoy every competition and performance. Learning the clarinet also helps me build friendships with a lot of people, which makes me happy.
