On September 12, I together with other JPC members volunteered to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with the elderly in Tsuen Wan. We prepared some wonderful shows for them, including dramas, African drum performance, singing and so on. Also, we taught the elderly a set of towel exercise and I was honoured to be the tutor in this session.
At first, we practiced this exercise for several times. I thought I was just one of the members following the professional coach to show the elderly how to do the exercise. However, I was suddenly chosen to be the tutor for the demonstration. I was surprised and a bit worried about my performance. I was nervous when I stepped on the stage, but with the encouragement from my mates, I became full of confidence. I finished my job successfully at the end. Although it was not a perfect one, I was still very happy as I have met some new friends through these meaningful activities.
