Patient: I do not feel like doing my homework tonight.
Doctor: You look a bit under the weather. What's wrong?
Patient: The weather is not too bad today, just a bit of drizzle.
Doctor: I mean that you seem ill because your face is so pale. Actually "under the weather" is an idiomatic expression meaning that somebody does not feel well. I suggest you go to bed early to rejuvenate your body and mind.
