I would like to take this opportunity to thank JPC, who always organize meaningful events for us.
One of the events, Present Wrapping for The Elderly, has inspired me a lot and reminded me of my grandparents. A grandparent of mine passed away when I was ten years old. I always regret that I had not much time with her.
However, this event provided me an opportunity to spend more time with the elderly, and I started to learn from them. While I was wrapping the presents, I was very pleased to be there. We spent our time together and I gave them some souvenirs, including towels, toothbrushes and cups. I started to put myself into their shoes. I will never forget the smiles on their faces.
This event encouraged me and also inspired the public to pay more attention to the elderly. A small action may affect more than you can imagine.
